How It Works
Three steps between your closet and your cash. No sorting, no spreadsheets, no waiting for your cards to sell.
Tell us about your cards
A short description — or a few photos — is all we need. Rough size (a shoebox, a longbox, three binders), rough age, anything you know about the good stuff. Don't know? That's fine, that's our job.
Ship them (or bring them to Berkeley)
We email you a prepaid label for most collections — you pack, we pay. Local? Drop off by appointment in Berkeley, CA. We send simple packaging guidelines so everything arrives safely.
Approve your appraisal, get paid
You receive a line-by-line report at fair market value. Approve it and we pay within 48 hours — by your choice of payment method. Not happy? We ship everything back at our cost.
What a transparent report looks like
Every appraisal comes as a line-by-line report — the card or lot, the condition we assessed, and the market price we used. No black box. Here's a short sample from a real-shaped collection (details redacted):
| Item | Condition | Price used |
|---|---|---|
| Reserve List rare — [redacted] | Near Mint | $140.00 |
| Dual land — [redacted] | Moderately Played | $310.00 |
| Binder: assorted rares, 1995–2003 | Mixed | $86.50 |
| Longbox: modern set rares (~400 cards) | Unplayed/NM | $62.00 |
| Bulk commons & uncommons (~2,100 cards) | Assorted | $18.00 |
| Your payout | $616.50 | |
Yes — the bulk line is small. We tell you that honestly instead of hiding it in a round number. And a share of our proceeds from every purchase goes to the Computer Technologies Program; it never comes out of your payout.
We buy bulk, too
Unsorted binders, boxes, and bulk commons are welcome — sorting is our job, not yours.
